Title: OMX and Tadawul

Duration: 2006 – 2007

Organization: HCL Technologies, OMX and Tadawul

Description: OMX software is a set of subsystems designed to support the need of an electronic trading system. The system architecture follows consistent, multi-tier client server architecture. Omnet gateway nodes act as an interface between exchange network and trading partner networks. The client and server communicate with each other through the Omnet API.

The Saudi Arabian Stock Exchange, Tadawul, is a migration project. Tadawul is changing the current trading system from Horizon to SAXESS and also replace current systems for information dissemination and market surveillance as well as, in a second phase, the CSDR system. The major parts of Tadawul system solution are SAXESS trading system, TARGIN information dissemination system, SMARTS market surveillance system and eClearSettle CSD services system.

Roles and responsibilities: 
1. Acquired the domain knowledge as well as knowledge of the client applications used to access this application 
2. Attended project related training sessions 
3. Answerable for the preparation of acceptance test cases for various modules of this application 
4. In charge for the preparation of acceptance test scenarios and acceptance test cases for various functionalities of the applications related to this project 
5. Implemented acceptance test cases and notified the bugs in the application and time taken for execution of test cases 
6. Handled the process of reviewing acceptance test case documents 
7. Attended review and walkthrough sessions for test case preparation and execution 
8. Extensively participated in productivity improvement of the project

Description: Vivo Meeting is meeting management software This product is developed in C for Windows and in
MAC. This product has several features like screen share, audio using computer, audio using
telephone, chat, fileshare, resources, single application share etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for managing a team of 2 members
2. Performed exploratory testing and recovery testing
3. Performed the task of effort estimation for this product
4. Handled the task of remote desktop connection testing and multi monitor testing
5. Prepared and implemented test plan and functional/regression/system test cases
6. In charge of bug reporting activities
7. Participated in preparation of job description for software tester, Senior Software Tester, QA Lead etc.
8. Participated in preparation of Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for software tester, Senior Software Tester, QA Lead etc.
9. Participated in hiring process for testing professionals
10. Responsible for preparation of test plan and test strategy

Project # 3

Title: Pearson OASIS

Duration: 2005 – 2006

Organization: HCL Technologies and Pearson

Description: OASIS stands for Order and Shipment Information System. OASIS is a development project basically relates to ordering of study material (in form of books, CD’s, study material etc.) in form of online transactions. It is a we based development project with different functionalities developed in either PAL or ASPX.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Prepared and executed test plan for break fix releases and functionalities
2. Prepared and implemented test scenarios for various modules
3. Implemented system test cases for IVR Tracker
4. Performed functional testing, integration testing, sanity testing and Regression testing for the whole application
5. In charge for the activities related with Pearson technology user acceptance testing (PTUAT) and business user acceptance testing (BUAT) for IVR tracker
6. Participated in productivity improvement of the project

Project # 4

Title: Non Image Infrastructure

Duration: 2007 – 2008

Organization: HCL technologies

Description: Non Image Infrastructure (NII) is a migration project of Auto Insurance Hub and is based on documentum content server. The application is basically based on customization of webtop 6.0 application that is based on documentum. Other applications like documentum administrator (DA), documentum application builder (DAB), retention policy services etc. are also getting used.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for leading a team of 4 members
2. Responsible for preparation of test plan and test strategy
3. Accountable for performing hands-on on WebTop and DA applications for Documentum 6.0
4. Efficiently prepared functional test scenarios and test conditions in accordance with agile methodology and on the basis of Requirement Specification Matrix (RSM)
5. Adeptly handled the preparation of effort estimation for some modules based on Documentum, automation approach document and automation scripts on the basis of automation framework
6. Performed the task of load testing using LoadRunner
7. Responsible for regression testing using QTP automation framework
8. Had daily conference call with the onsite Coordinator

Title: M-traction Resource Control

Duration: 2003 – 2005

Organization: Siemens Information Systems Limited

Description: The M-traction resource control application offers business users the possibility to track and manage their mobile resources and thus to improve their business processes and efficiency of their work-forces. M-traction Sie fleet is a development project. It basically consists of 4 users namely Provider, Administrator, Dispatcher, WAP & SMS device. This is a web based application developed for client One in Austria.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for leading a team of 1 member
2. In charge for completing the functional and GUI testing and managing the task of sanity testing for whole project
3. Prepared functional test cases for whole project, also prepared System Test Specifications (STS)
4. Handled the operations allied with database creation by use of SQL & PL-SQL scripts
5. Oversaw the process of measuring performance using performance parameters like CPU, memory utilization etc. using UNIX based backend scripts
6. Liable for performing load testing, volume testing and stability testing of application using LoadRunner
7. Performed the basic execution of test cases and preparation of system test setup and version management of test scripts
8. Answerable for the operations dealt with bilingual testing by performing manual testing in English and German languages
9. Extensively participated in productivity improvement of the project
